Worked for Belmont’s Summer Orientation as a Summer Staff Leader for the class of 2027 while cultivating a welcoming and nurturing environment for incoming freshman by answering student and parent questions, helping with class registration, and giving directions to students and families around campus.

The SURFS program at Belmont is a one of a kind summer research program within the College of Science and Mathematics. This program offers opportunities for students at all levels to work on a focused, 6-week research project over the summer. Specifically, I conducted research on undergraduate students' conceptions of the Nature of Mathematics (NOM) through qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Our findings were presented at the MSERA Education Conference in November 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
