Short but rapid progression to date through the fields of adult services and commissioning. 2009 - Cheshire East Council as a customer relations officer with adult services access team. Having carried out many voluntary roles whist trying to return to work enabled me to bring a fresh perspective to adult services adding a holistic prevention aspect to the role. 2010 - Onwards & upwards following the demise of the existing role into the newly formed LILT team (social services) as was, but due to late communication from the new team an application into commissioning was made. 2010 - A month later it was hello and goodbye, an opportunity to bring all my existing stills into commissioning arose and I took the role as third sector commissioning project officer. Present - here I stay several grades up in a short space of time I am now experiencing a steep learning curve into procurement / tendering. exciting times for sure and whilst other higher grade roles have come up I feel that remaining in my current level / role will provide a greater self development journey and a opportunity to make a difference with third sector providers and ultimately the service users. I'm sure the plan will pay off in the long run.Long term Goals - I'll see where this takes me but open to ideas for the greater good.
