• Exchange Server 2007 introduced improvement opportunities that required overseeing firewall, CRM, Public Folder, and other migration aspects to move from Exchange Server 2003. I delivered program management expertise to handle the migration.• Public Folder migration and EOL management. Enhanced and refined the short and long term strategy for Public Folders. Collaborated with LCA to define retention policy. Created and executed migration plan to move to Exchange Server 2007. Also began replacing Public Folder distribution groups archiving with SharePoint • Extranet infrastructure management. Identified customer Extranet needs; created and executed upgrade and migration plan for Exchange Server 2007. Determine the as-is deployed features in the Extranet and meet with customers to rationalize feature needs and ROI for migration. Included consideration and planning of dependencies, such as investigating TLC technology as a replacement for IPSEC.• CRM migration and upgrade. Identified MSCRM dependencies to create comprehensive plan for satisfying each one. Collaborated with various dependency owners and clients to upgrade their CRM to V4 MSCRM. Included upgrading CRM capabilities to Exchange Server 2007.• Service access model for Exchange Server. Administered access model improvements as part of the overall migration effort. Define and prioritize services to move to a dedicated VPN or the open Internet from a dedicated network connection based on overall ROI for Online Customers and Microsoft. Calculations and ROI model entailed understanding the Exchange services and existing bandwidth requirements of each to make data-driven decisions for optimal efficiency and cost cutting.• Identity management. Owned strategy for identity and group management for CORP and Online in making the decision to use ILM or the E14 Control Panel
