N. Alex Hara joined the bank in January 2004 as Vice President of the Japanese BankingGroup. Alex is responsible for Japanese owned businesses in the state of Ohio andMichigan.Prior to joining the bank, Alex spent more than a decade as an international businessconsultant, helping American and Japanese companies doing business together.Prior to becoming a consultant, he was founder and president of GLO International inDayton, a $42 million importer of consumer durable goods sold to major home centers andhardware stores in the US.Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Jurisprudence from Chuo University in Tokyo.He also earned an MBA from Roosevelt University in Chicago.Alex serves as a Trustee of Western Oho Japanese Language School in Troy Ohio.
