My name is Alex Harris and I am a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History. I have resided in Ottawa, Ontario all my life and had been in the French immersion stream for my twelve years of elementary and secondary education as well as my first year attending the University of Ottawa. I am DELF B2 certified and feel confident in my bilingualism so I can read, write, and speak in both French and English and am very proficient in my research analysis skills. I have always been extremely passionate in learning about political and historical information with specific interests in North American history and international relations concerning Canadian sovereignty, but I have also taken the time to learn about world history and politics. I have future aspirations of attaining a Masters of Art in History degree and to continue developing my research abilities.
