I am a full time professional photographer with a studio in Chorley, Lancashire. I specialise in providing high quality wedding photography both nationally and internationally and regularly shoot at top venues throughout the UK. From my studio I provide newborn and portrait photography and I also undertake commercial and other work as time allows.I am expert in using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.

I developed the idea of a Quality Audit Team who would visit each of the asylum teams throughout the UK and assess both Senior Caseworkers and caseworkers using a QA framework that I also devised. The framework helped ensure that decisions made on asylum claims would stand up in court when challenged and that the UK only granted asylum to those truly valid cases. The data they collected was collated and analysed by myself and used for high level (Ministerial) reporting about the quality of the UK's asylum casework. The systems I devised were later adopted by several other European countries.I also led a team of European Asylum experts as part of the EAC (European Asylum Curriculum). My role was to lead the team and act as the UK's expert to deliver a training solution that EU and non EU member countries could adopt. The project has been very successful and has been rolled out across Europe.The quality of the UK's casework rose from 74% fully effective when I began working in my post to over 96% when I left.I resigned in 2009 following the birth of my daughter to concentrate on my own business and family life.
