This involved setting up before recording sessions, being ready to help with anything during the session, and cleaning up after. There was also general cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks the studio needed that I helped with such as music videos and online marketing. I got to sit in on many sessions and learned a lot about studio etiquette and professional technique.

Load in gear/band, set up gear on stage, cater to artists' requests, handle change overs between acts, tear down and load out after the show. I was basically a constant assistant to whoever the stage manager was for the night. Did some minor system repair. Learned all that goes into putting on a show at a small venue from start to finish - artist etiquette, hospitality, gear load in/load out, and some live sound engineering.

This was your basic retail job. It involved maintaining the organization of the sales floor, folding clothes from the dressing room, and checking people out at the register.
