I was originally brought in to manage the testing of the NetSuite system through the P2P and OTC testing from January until May 2019 and my main role was to produce scripts for the wider financial team to use so that I could train them on the system when we went live. I was also a main point of contact with NetSuite through regular calls and meeting to ensure that the system was fit for purpose and all the added adjustments had been made for when we went live.I have now moved into a dual role where I mainly take care of the Accounts Receivable side of the business, whilst also supporting with some of the Accounts Payable jobs and assisting the financial accountant with month end tasks. These tasks include the below:• Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, Bank and credit card transactions.• Reconciliating the daily bank statement.• Raising Manual invoices.• Follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of payment.• Ensuring adjustments are posted on the customer ledger using Journals.• End of Month reporting for the Accountant and Credit Control manager.
