I completed a PhD in Creative Writing and Literary Studies at the University of Canberra, where I studied LGBTQIA+ representation in young adult literature.

In 2021 I was contracted to contribute to an internal report for the University of Canberra’s Graduate Research department, regarding breaches of policy and procedure in postgraduate students from across the faculties. I quickly became familiar with the relevant policies and procedures and applied this knowledge effectively. Across this project I held interviews with administration officers, conducted self-directed research and data gathering, and converted raw data into accessible, written evidence that clearly communicated the relevant information.

With funds from an ACT government arts grant, I collaborated with AGA to run a series of creative writing workshops for local emerging writers under the trans, gender diverse, and intersex umbrella. This involved developing and delivering teaching materials and giving editorial feedback to the workshop attendees, adapting for a wide variety of experience levels and personal backgrounds.
