Her career is multifaceted, centered on caring for people through work as an EMT, birth doula, home healthcare provider, and in law enforcement. She carries a commitment to health optimization from her days as a triathlete and wrestler. As a granddaughter of Black Panthers and a self-defined “nerd and giant fan of the endurance people have to navigate health challenges,” Alex works to find better solutions to help her patients heal and return to their daily lives, focusing acutely on reversing the impact of larger systems on minority communities. As the founder and CEO of Holistic Hyperbarics, she is committed to leveraging her power and knowledge of hyperbaric medicine to serve communities by providing health care for the whole person.
