As student leader, I have leveraged my business education with my IT and project management experience to assist in reshaping the department, leading new initiatives, and eliminating operational inefficiencies. By assisting the Infrastructure Services Director in reorganizing the student technician department, we have seen a drastic increase in reputation and productivity. I created a process to enhance efficiency in our ticketing system, resulting in approximately 90% reduction in open tickets and dramatically faster response times. Additionally, I serve as the student representative in meetings with vendors and Information Technology Services leadership, assisting with cost analysis, ROI, meeting notes and distribution, and departmental road mapping.

As a student tech for Networking and Telecommunications, the bulk of my responsibility revolves around assisting in the implementation of new technologies and internet services on the University of St. Thomas campuses. Working hands-on with a team or individually, I make sure that defective hardware on campus is repaired or replaced promptly and correctly.

As a Research Assistant for the Finance Department, I assisted with gathering data and generating models to aid professors in their research endeavors. This work required attention to detail, analytical skills, and patience to consolidate mass amounts of data in order to create functional models.
