Companies are increasingly recognising their 'purpose' as the most important factor in brand identity and equity. This is after all how we shape our customers' perceptions and attitudes towards the brand. However, many fail to achieve an authentic purpose. Instead, we must use compelling storytelling to build and communicate our purpose to our stakeholders. In my last role at Byworth, I delved down to find what was their purpose, their story - the WHY they were here as a successful company today. The result was our #jointheinnovators campaign which tells the story of Byworth's founder, his visions, his values and his purpose to which all live on in the company and its employees today. It's part of their culture, their DNA.
