Working with cultural stakeholders across the Royal Docks, and with colleagues from the wider Royal Docks Team including Economic Development, Place and Marketing to support the development and cultural activation of Royal Docks neighbourhoods. Maximising a cohesive cultural offer in the Royal Docks which boosts the visitor economy, always ensuring the prominence of the Royal Docks’ distinctive cultural vision and community wealth building principles. Developing opportunities across cultural partners’ offers, attract events and longer-term cultural projects to the area, and generate and produce Royal Docks events, installations and programme frameworks.

Identifying, developing and implementing a unique creative and cultural programme for the Royal Docks, capitalising on the area’s unique set of assets (landscape, heritage, community and local creative stakeholders, amongst other things) to position it as a distinct cultural destination in London; boosting place awareness and increasing visitor and local footfall.

Initiator and Manager of the ‘Pit Shake-up’, a Strategic Plan project that created a new programming identity for the Barbican’s studio theatre space. · Theatre lead on the Open Lab, the Barbican’s artist development strand: responsible for the overall direction of the programme, identifying opportunities to create partnerships, developing work with the artists and determining next steps for the outcomes. · 9 years line producer experience, taking management responsibility for delegated projects in the Theatre and Dance Programme; negotiating and writing contracts, creating and managing budgets, ensuring successful delivery within budget. · Contributed to the department's programming by pro-actively finding new work, with particular focus on the Pit studio space and Beyond Barbican, the Centre’s off-site work, assessing its suitability for the Barbican's requirements, and producing reports laying out my conclusions · Line manager for the Theatre Trainee, Theatre Apprentice, Theatre Assistant and Graduate Placement

· Assisted (in the Assistant Producer role) on a range of projects in both the Main House and the Pit, as well as off-site events. · Managed the use of theatre spaces by other Barbican departments. · Provided administrative and secretarial support to the bite admin office, including filing, photocopying, accounting and the booking of travel. · Completed financial tasks, such as processing invoices and expense claims. · Acted as first point of contact for visitors and telephone calls.
