I coordinate and manage projects Operations, IT, and Engineering teams out of Barracuda's Ann Arbor office. The range of projects I have managed include physical data center setups/teardowns, upgrading software versions across an entire production environment, moving MFA applications from public to private portals. In the past year I have obtained both my PSM1 certification and my PMP certification.

Through my experience working as an Operations Engineering (formerly known as NOC) Lead Provisioning Engineer I have advanced into a supervisor role within my team. In my role I have a subset of my team report to me where I will provide them with the resources and support they require to fulfill their duties at Barracuda while furthering their professional career. With my new role am continuing to be a lead in project completion while beginning to focus on managing projects myself.

As a NOC Lead Provisioning Engineer I monitor and maintain hardware in Barracuda Data Centers while working in a project management capacity on NOC projects. Part of my responsibilities include taking the lead role on new project work including determining scope of work, time to complete, and assigning subtasks to team as needed. I also create and improve internal documentation, plan for needed infrastructure, and train other NOC team members on provisioning tasks.

Continuing on my success as an Associate Technician, I ensure the success of the expansion of Barracuda's cloud infrastructure in the U.S. and abroad. I create diagrams of our infrastructure and documentation to allow clear and concise communication to data center technicians from an array of different countries.

I work on maintenance and expansion Barracuda's data centers around the globe. Expanding Barracuda's cloud is a never ending endeavor which my team and I handle around the clock. The demand for data protection from Barracuda was constantly growing and I used my knowledge of our infrastructure to meet that demand.

As the Associate Compliance Analyst, I was responsible for making sure that Barracuda was compliant with industry standards for SSAE-16. My work allowed me to meet with heads of engineering, product management, and our legal team to expand and maintain our controls to meet these standards. Other responsibilities of mine included distributing our security/audit documents to customers and answering customers' questions on our products' compliance.

I was tasked with the advertisement and marketing of the MSU Student Housing Cooperatives, in addition to managing representative officers from each house. Using internal surveys I was able to formulate a strategy to re-brand our organization and tailor a marketing strategy that would attract the modern MSU student. We got away from print advertisement and invested in Google Ad-words, engaged students on campus, and participated in every possible housing or club event that we could to use word of mouth advertising. Another responsibility of mine was to lead conflict resolution training for large groups of house officers to give them agency to handle conflicts between members in their homes.

I worked on Big Ten Network's student crew with other Michigan State University students to broadcast or record a variety of MSU sporting events. These events would require me to assist with the setup, filming, teardown, and relocation of equipment. I was also privileged to have the opportunity to film all MSU Basketball post-game press conferences for Big Ten Network. Outside of Big Ten, I did freelance work for ABC and ESPN for MSU Football Games, assisting with the setup and handling of audio equipment.

As an intern, I worked in the purchasing department aiding the company in creating a more efficient inventory. In addition, I catalogued purchases from the last three years and used the information to create an interactive spreadsheet which allowed the company to choose the best shipping provider based on location and weight of the items being shipped.

I aided incoming business students at Michigan State University in learning about the Broad College of Business and selecting their classes. Because of my international background, I was handpicked to exclusively lead groups of international students through the orientation process and be a contact for them throughout their school year.

Hired and trained two crews to paint exteriors of houses. I went door to door to find my customers and would setup free estimates of costs. My business reached $75,000 and I was titled Manager of the Year for the state of Michigan.
