- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models and RESTful APIs for new features with webapp2 on Google App Engine using the BigTable datastore.- Implemented Admin and internal tools for configuring useful data on test and production servers.- Contributed to the team that implemented a video transcoding platform to process video recordings made in the app using Google Compute Engine’s Managed Virtual Machines Beta, the ffmpeg command-line utility, and App Engine pull queues.- Wrote unit tests, integration tests and documentation for APIs and backend systems.

- Created an e-mail module for the BriefingPlace.com cloud-based service with the Mailgun API for PHP.- Created an SMS and conference call module with the Twilio API for PHP allowing the client and server to send and receive SMS messages and to connect to a call with other users.- Stored and queried e-mail, SMS, and call data in a few tables of a MySQL database.- Learned to use Git, maintaining a branch for my project.

- Worked with a mentor on a new iOS game "Ninja Army".- Created an intro movie controller, that cropped and zoomed static images from JSON.- Created the mission rating controller for game mission scoring.

- Improved site’s readability and created pages to show the papers and projects of theresearch team using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, and Python APIs with the Django web framework.- Created different viewing functions for Django to display and search all of the researchteam’s papers and projects in Python.
