During this two-week work experience opportunity I was tasked with researching and identifying suitable commercial property locations for the Acquisitions team. The role involved: - Utilising on line tools to analyse satellite imagery and aggregate data to determine whether potential sites met specified requirements; this involved examining the property information, ownership, historic planning applications and planning policy.- Conducting comparative market analysis when obtaining comparable sale price data for a number of identified sites in order to assess likely values through the development appraisal process.   - Working with the Asset  Management team, inspecting a number of properties within their portfolio and identifying potential use options for the unused space to generate income

Key responsibilities I held during this role include: - Producing the Operation and Maintenance manuals of construction projects.- Comparing and evaluating multiple subcontractor’s pricings, choosing the most economical option for each construction trade.- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors- Calculating interim valuations and payments using Microsoft Excel.
