• Set up, carryout & record Hydrostatic Testing of Flexible Risers & Flowlines in line with the ITP & API 17J 4th Edition.Duties include:o Bolting of High Pressure Test heads using torque or tensioning equipment in line with MJI 10/18/19.o N2 Pressure Testing of connections.o Insertion and inspection of Gauging PIGS.o Staging of the pipes in the correct orientation for testing using heavy lifting equipment.o Installation of high pressure componentso Install & operation datalogging equipment.o Set up & Operation of Pumping Equipment including high pressure hoses.o Pressurise/stabilisation of pipes & record/monitor during testing period in line with company procedures.o Depressurisation & dewatering of pipes using industrial compressors.o Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) which can include Shield Integrity Testing, Gas Venting, Annulus Volume Test, Electrical Continuity & Resistance Testing, Vent Valve Verification, Vacuum Annulus Testing.• To set up and carryout fit up tests with various offshore ancillary equipment (including Bend Restrictors, Hang Off Plates/Flanges, Spool Pieces, Insulation Clamps, Collars, Stopper Clamps etc) in line with supplier’s assembly procedures using various lifting equipment & methods.• Rigging & Final Packaging of Flexible Pipes to Reels.• Maintenance & Inspection of Equipment & Tooling.• Perform any other duties as directed by the Work Centre Team.• Working independently or as part of team to achieve targets/goals.• Working to strict deadlines to achieve client requirements independently and/or as part of a team.• Working under pressure to solve problems to meet tight deadlines/targets to ensure on time delivery.• Continually improving processes & techniques to run the department more efficient.

•Reporting directly to the Engineering Managers•Coordinating Project related “fit-up tests”, within Wellstream facility or at a Subcontractors facility interfacing with the client or their nominated representative ensuring the products are manufactured as per drawings & quality requirements.•Generating project documentation (Assembly Work Orders, Manufacturing Work Orders, and Pipe Cut Sheets) using, Microsoft & Excel software.•Generating Purchase Requests/Orders & Bill of Materials using ERP Software (IFS)•Liaising with Manufacturing Supervision in relation to Project specific equipment and /or activities.•Interfacing with Senior Engineers and/or Engineers to assist in the response to technical queries from the client or their nominated representative, Vendors and SCM group.•Generate shipping and packaging documentation and close co-ordination with warehouse/logistics departments & client.•Coordinating project load out requirements.•Working with and supervise Subcontractors whilst on site undertaking project related duties.•Expediting materials and equipment to ensure on time delivery to achieve strict delivery targets. •Perform any other duties as directed by the Engineering Managers.•Offshore support supervising Transpooling & Installation activities. Repairing flexible Risers & Flowlines as required working closely with Client and Installation Contractor.•Offshore Annulus Volume Testing of Flexible Risers as part of the Integrity Management Team.•Working independently or as part of team to achieve targets/goals.•Working to strict deadlines to achieve client requirements independently and/or as part of a team.•Working under pressure to solve problems to meet tight deadlines/targets.•Continually Improving Processes & Techniques to run the department/plant more efficiently.

•To set up and operate production lines (Carcass, Flexlok/Rewind, Insulation & Carousel) using various tools, welders, cranes & fork lift trucks following Standard Operating Instructions & HSE guidelines.•Ensuring pipe is manufactured within the correct timescales to meet manufacturing schedule.•Carry out pipe repair methods in accordance with Product Quality Standards using TIG (Duplex & S/Steel), MIG & Polymer welding.•Ensuring plant / equipment is in good working order and PPM carried out in accordance with procedures.•Carry out Process Inspection (Dye Penetrant Inspection, Ovality, Pitch, PiOD, and Weld Inspection) to ensure the product is manufactured in accordance with the Manufacturing Work Order & Quality Plan to ensure it meets the client requirements. Recording all information on the relevant paperwork to strict quality control requirements.•Carrying out Continuous Improvement activities to improve manufacturing line efficiency & throughput.•Working as part of a team communicating with all parties inc: Supervisors, QC & 3rd Party Inspectors.•To carryout routine Risk Assessment’s to ensure Health & Safety requirements are maintained.

Maintenance / Validation of cleanrooms and associated Health & Safety equipment, also various environmental testing within the Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industry, to Health & Safety Standards, Quality control guidelines and in house procedures. I liaised with clients on site communicating with their workforce investigating and solving problems. I was also involved in risk assessments, equipment safety inspections, carrying out internal calibration/maintenance of equipment, organising external calibration and routine report writing.

Undertaking asbestos surveys to MDHS 100 and carryout 4 stage testing after asbestos removal. I also held the supervisory license for asbestos removal projects including Demolition, Offshore and Ship Repair projects ensuring all relevant documentation were kept up to date and all work on site was carried out to the current regulations and recommended guidelines. I also liaised with clients and communicate effectively with all parties including HSE Inspectors, contractors & the general public.

Manufacturing conveyor components from detailed drawings by using various skills and machinery including MIG & TIG welding, sheet metal benders, press brakes, Guillotines, band saws, pedestal drills & milling machines.

Manufacturing and Installing pipework, vessels & duct work from detailed drawings by using various skills and machinery working mainly for the chemical, pharmaceutical & electronics industry.
