I led a large team of domestic and international product managers to develop product and marketing strategies for domestic and international telco products and services (International Roaming, Premium Services for Service Bureaux and SMS Marketing and Communications with Corporate Messaging). I drove a philosophy of wide cross company engagement with all corporate functions including Sales, Finance, Engineering, Legal and IT to ensure product managers understood their products from an end to end perspective. I also ensured all my team, including myself, regularly spoke with customers who used their products from Sales Account ride ons to customers who had a poor experience.In this role, I had ownership of a P&L worth over $750M and grew revenue and EBIT via a comprehensive product development and lifecycle plan.By applying an end to end focus of the service supply chain including external vendors, international partners and suppliers, I reduced operational cost by over $100M. This opened up the opportunity to create market leading offers and drive marketing programs while enhancing customer experience.I developed and executed numerous CAPEX projects from concept to business case to launch. In one case, a $20M CAPEX compliance project with a short and punitive deadline was executed successfully. I also led Telstra's engagement with numerous government agencies, regulatory bodies and industry associations.
