My name is Alex Kiriakides and I am currently a senior at the University of South Carolina, studying Finance in the Darla Moore School of Business. At the age of 15, I began working as an assistant at a Bitcoin mining facility in Greenville, SC. Through my tenure at Treis Blockchain, I gained a deep understanding of money and cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin. I worked on the miners day in and out and diligently listened to my mentors learning all that I could.Ever since then, my interest in finance has only grown. From spending a summer working at one of my mentor's businesses trying to perfect futures trading the S&P 500, to starting my own digital asset/cryptocurrency investment fund, and more recently, working as a crypto writer and Ai content assistant for one of Inc.'s list of the top 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States: Benzinga. What has kept me in this industry over the past six years is the freshness and innovation in the cryptocurrency industry. My strengths include a strong background in financial accounting, as well as proficiency in technical analysis and price action analysis. I have the ability to navigate markets and make decisions, which I believe to be valuable. Additionally, I am proficient in the Chinese language and have experience with technical research. I am also confident in my public speaking abilities and my ability to effectively summarize information. I have a deep understanding of cryptocurrencies, economics and politics, and have experience in trading. I am highly motivated and eager to always keep learning more and I believe that my skills, experience, and passion align well with my future goals.
