• Rebuilt the school budget to align with divisions and programs in order to set clear budget goals and performance indicators. Significantly increased the school’s capacity to report on budget variances and understand how the budget ties to program. Improved the accuracy and efficiency of quarterly reforecasting processes.• Engaged with the College to leverage the new ERP (enterprise resource planning) system to transform the Faculty, Parent, and Student experience, starting with a rapid adoption of a new Enrollment Management system and alignment with tuition management service.• Worked closely with the school’s Auxiliary Programs teams (Afterschool and Summer Camp) to improve finance processes, streamline reporting, and supported decision making to align with net income goals.• Partnered with the larger College leadership to envision, plan for and execute the reopening of the Bank Street Family Center and School for Children in the midst of the pandemic, creating systems and processes around facility needs, PCR testing, budgeting and staffing. • Partnered with the Admissions and Financial Aid teams to streamline admissions processes to ensure efficient enrollment management and timely receipt of payments, developed new KPI reports, and alignment of Admissions with strategic goals of the School and College. • Served as the School’s compliance and data reporting specialist, responsible for NAIS’s DASL report, NYSED filings and reports, and other compliance items required.

Finance & Operations• Manage bookkeeping, accounting, annual audit, financial reporting, insurance policies, vendor relationships, cash flow management, and payroll.• Manage organization wide budget planning, preparation, analysis, projections, and reporting. Close collaboration with other senior staff on program and staffing budget management and forecasting as well as other business planning matters.• Recruit and supervise Business and Operations staff.• Liaison to Board finance committees, responsible for preparing and presenting regular financial reports, annual budget and monthly forecasts, preliminary audit reports, and reporting on other finance matters.Human Resources• Responsible for all human resource administrative functions, including on-boarding of all new employees, administration of a large portfolio of benefit plans (including health, dental, pension, transit and FSA).• Prepare or approve all employment agreements and letters of hire. • Created and continue to maintain the organization’s personnel practices manual, as well as all HR related materials and systems.• Monitor ongoing legal compliance and best practices.Development• Served as acting Director of Development during staff transitions, working closely with leaders across the organization to meet funding requirements.• Supported the Board Development committee and responsible for preparing development reports on trends in giving, projections of support revenues, and strategies for managing annual funding requirements as well as coaching and support for volunteer peer to peer fundraisers.• Have led the preparation for the organization’s annual benefit gala.
