I am currently in charge of two teams, responsible for development and delivery on a range of different bridge related projects. One team is responsible for natural disaster response and rehabilitation of damaged assets, and one team is responsible for new bridge projects. Currently, we have a workbook of around $35M, which includes 9 x new bridge builds over the next 18 months.90% of the work we complete is with direct control staff, and we have expertise in bridge construction, slope stabilisation, demolition, roadworks, rail bridges, road bridges, maritime assets.

Remaining Delivery Phase works for the Dumaresq Overflow Channel Bridge Reconstruction Project.Works undertaken during this time included all bridge construction works (steel driven piles, in-situ FRP concrete bridge construction, prestressed plank superstructure), approach roadworks, channel rehabilitation, and finishing works.

In this role, I was an Engineering Project Manager responsible for both development and delivery of new bridge construction projects within Maintenance and Delivery, Bridge Works Northern team. Projects Included: Clarenza Shared User Path Pedestrian Bridge. This bridge was part of a new shared user path linking the city with a nearby residential and light industrial suburb near Grafton, NSW. Scope includes:- New 26m single span, steel truss pedestrian bridge structure to AS5100. - Steel driven pile foundation with cast in-situ concrete abutments- Concrete footpath tie-in on approach to structureDevelopment and Delivery between July 2022 and February 2024.Dumaresq Overflow Channel Bridge Reconstruction. This bridge is being developed and delivered for Tenterfield Shire Council as part of a natural disaster recovery program. Scope includes:- Demolition of existing three span concrete structure- New construction of a 54m concrete structure utilising a combination of direct control trades and subcontractors.- Riverbank revetment works and scour protection- 400m of approach roadworks, associated finishing works and furniture.Development and Delivery between October 2022 and November 2023 (delivery ongoing).Lily Creek Flood Mitigation and Safety Improvement. This project involves re-alignment of a portion of the New England Highway near Bendemeer, NSW to improve road user safety and flooding resilience. Scope includes:- Construction of a new, 18m single span plank bridge to AS5100- Realignment of approximately 1.2km of road, including transverse drainage upgrades, property adjustments, furniture upgrades- Demolition of existing box culvert structure.Development only between November 2022 and November 2023.

In this role I am responsible for both my own projects as well as management of an engineering team working on several projects in the bridge maintenance, bridge construction, and slope rehabilitation areas. Key duties involve management of program for 12 direct control work teams, two project engineers and two project support officers.

In this role I was responsible for development and delivery of a highly changing bridge maintenance and construction program. I was responsible for ongoing program for up to eight teams, as part of a multi-disciplinary direct control workforce.Projects included works of varying complexity on all structures from small concrete culverts, to timber truss and beam bridges, steel and wrought iron multi span bridges, and others.
