I currently work for Viglen as a Service Desk Engineer, My primary role within the company is to go round to different sites and look after and maintain their systems. I also do Installations of switches and patch them when required to do so. I support a number of different sites with no two the same, some have HyperV, VMware, VDI's and some have a standard setup with physical servers, which run from server 2003-2012. When I’m in the office I also assist in taking software calls and dialling in remotely to fix the problems using Team Viewer, Log Me In and Cisco VPN. I have to log the work done via tickets, which I have to create, modify and close when done. I work with the following regularly:-Active Directory-Group Policy-Backup Exec-Veeam-MDT-VAMT-RDP-DNS-DHCP-Exchange-Sophos-AVG Remote Administration-Vmware/HyperV-SIMS

On a day-to-day basis I was actively involved in the following:• Computer system hardware & software diagnostics.• Hardware and software repairs.• General maintenance to improve computer performance & reliability.• Technical support verbally via front desk & over telephone.• Sorting out the stores alarm systems.
