I have got the opportunity to teach courses for my 5 semesters. Courses include Basic Algebra (twice), College Algebra (4 times), Liberal Art Mathematics (once), Trigonometry (twice) and Calculus II (once)

Supplemental Instructor for College Algebra. The position requires 8 hours a week of which includes attending daily lecture four times a week, holding two hours of office time, and providing two hours of class time for additional help to students.

Official tutor for the physics department, and the position including tutoring for ten hours a week, with one of those hours being as a lab assistant. I tutored in the areas of Trig. and Calc. based Physics I & II, Statics, Dynamics, and Astronomy.

Other than the duties of bagging groceries, I did the following tasks:• Set-up and maintained sales displays• Took initiative to design sales signs using SUPERVALU’s programming system• Maintained pricing of Grocery and Frozen Department, including ordering and managing • Effectively dealt with customer needs and complaints• Demonstrated leadership daily with delegating tasks to fellow employees

Hired with another partner to analyze a particular device used by a boating company and come up with the mathematical model, parameters and limitations of it. The end game was to come up with a computer code that represented the system in which the user inputted in several parameters and our code would give feedback based on inputs. It was able to signify a pass as one who is able to use the device and then a fail with the explanation why if one was not able to use it. In the process, we tested the code by using actual past data from the company that represented those who purchased ( a pass) and those who did not (a fail) . We used VBA in Word to create a input area that tested the parameters of the system. In the end, we were able to get an in-house product that that they tested and it matched all the data they had. There was future potential for us to eventually try to take the product live on their web-page and to design and create the GUI for such.

Each semester, I taught two undergraduate math courses while taking two graduate courses.

Also worked there for the summer of 2011 and 2012.
