Conducted research to integrate supportive and palliative care interventions for children with cancer and severe neurological impairments, and met with clinicians and families to understand team dynamics in promoting quality of life in children with cancer.

Taught children ages 3-5 creative dance and pre-ballet to foster a love for movement and develop rhythm and discipline, and adapted the creative dance curriculum in private lessons for children with varying abilities.

Conducted multi-step organic syntheses of target compounds and intermediates for drug development projects. Worked on the mechanism and synthesis of small molecules for gram negative bacteria antibiotics.

Worked for the non-profit organization The Village Group, offering after-school programs and opportunities for students of South Carolina. Duties performed included creating a marketing plan for the non-profit's events, shadowing teachers, teaching individual students math and reading, teaching a ballet class to students K-5 with no previous exposure to dance, and organizing an end of summer recital.
