The role involved leading the technical delivery of projects for customer facing commerce channels and internal systems as well as line managing all development resource within the company. Team included permanent, contract, onshore, near-shore and offshore resources. Achievements included the following:- Creation of first internal Agile cross-functional delivery teams within the company, using Kanban/Scrum principles - Selection and on-boarding of a nearshore Agile delivery team- Coaching the business on Agile processes- Driven forward JIRA/Confluence adoption from a handful of users to now being used department-wide across the project portfolio with internal & external users- Continuous Integration, code review & quality processes/tools to Hybris development projects- A culture of robust change control processes for development releases and version control for all development platforms including legacy ERP platform- Concept of regular release schedules to systems company-wide to limit the amount of change being introduced to the production environment- 3-tier architecture and performance improvements to Hybris eCommerce platform, including new AngularJS checkout- Introduction of test case management software (Zephyr), standard defect triage procedures and test automation - Formulation of a test and development environment strategy in partnership with the Architecture department Other responsibilities included:- Line managing and mentoring a cross functional team of Hybris/Java, .Net, API, SQL and Dynamics Navision ERP developers- Key involvement and contribution to the company's technical strategy- Working closely with architecture and infrastructure teams to rationalise the application stack making it more robust, performant and supportable- Work in partnership with the Service teams for the service transition of projects

- Lead developer of in-house workstream- ATG eCommerce suite/Java development, analysis and QA within agile scrum. Front end Javascript/CSS development. Projects included:Checkout re-designNew online payment authorisation/CCV check•Collect+ integration- Agile development of new in-house PIM using Java, Spring, Hibernate and Oracle as part of eCommerce re-platforming project- Development of previous website platform and in-house content management system on .NET platform (VB.NET, C#, Javascript, JQuery, JSON) with SQL Server and SSIS.

Joined on IT graduate scheme. Roles included:-Tech lead for Microsoft SCCM (managing 27,000+ devices company-wide). Led project to build new infrastrcuture and migrate devices to it.-Tech lead for corporate FTP infrastructure- Led project to develop system in VB to upgrade and standardise Lotus Notes client Partnership-wide- Led infrastructure review of Partnership's external email filters and subsequent project to replace previous system
