Showroom Sales Supervisor
Current• Direct a team of up to 3 Inside Sales Associates in the day-to-day showroom operations and ensure sales performance targets were always achieved• Accountable for the team hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance evaluation and management• Report to the Regional Sales Director of Eastern Canada and offer expertise to inform strategic planning• Complete weekly inventory counts, order supplies, and replenish the showroom to guarantee product availability• Participate in office meetings, brainstorm process improvements, and record and distribute minutes to attendees• Organize events with up to 100 guests including cooking classes, chef demos, and product knowledge sessions• Receive customer inquiries, prepare detailed quotes, answer product questions, and fulfill and distribute orders • Liaise with the Parts & Service department, warehouses, and carriers to plan shipments and equipment servicing• Conduct monthly sales forecasting and define showroom pricing to maintain margins and surpass monthly goals• Compose stakeholder correspondence, generate sales leads, and maintain relationships with key client accounts• Source service providers for facility maintenance, generate work orders, and submit payments in a timely manner• Arrange catered lunches for staff meetings, promote upcoming events, and coordinate staff holiday partiesKey Achievements:✓ Orchestrated the store move from North York to the Etobicoke location that allowed the company to increase the inventory size by over 300% and dramatically grow monthly sales✓ Reduced the aged inventory backlog by over 50% by introducing a new program to monitor dead stock, contact suppliers to gather warranty information, and establish clearance sales pricing✓ Enhanced team productivity by spearheading the culture shift among the Inside Sales team and building new training programs ✓ Implemented standard procedures for loaning equipment to clients and for putting used equipment on consignment
