I am a recently graduated Biology student at North Carolina State University, with a focus in Public Health and Health Communication. I aspire to work in the healthcare sector, where I can apply my knowledge and skills to improve the well-being and quality of life of others.As the President of Acappology, the premiere all-gender a cappella group on campus, I have developed my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, while also pursuing my passion for the visual arts. I have led the group in various community outreach and volunteering activities, such as performing for local schools and organizations in the Triangle. I have also gained valuable experience in managing the group's operations, budget, and marketing, as well as collaborating with other campus groups and external partners.Additionally, I have enhanced my understanding of the healthcare field and the needs of patients through my internship as an Acupuncture Assistant at East to West Wellness Center, where I assisted the acupuncturist in providing holistic and personalized care to clients. I learned about the benefits and challenges of alternative medicine, as well as the importance of health policy and advocacy in ensuring access and equity for diverse populations.I am eager to continue learning and growing as an individual, a leader, and a healthcare professional, and I am always open to new opportunities and challenges that will help me achieve my goals.
