Producing, coordinating and running online events for MYsocial members. MYsocial is Age UK Lambeth's social membership service that seeks to reduce social isolation and loneliness. During the pandemic their usual calendar of live events and local meet-ups had to stop. As the Digital Event Coordintor I built an online events programme via Zoom and hosted a Digital Festival on Facebook Live. This gave MYsocial members the opportunity to stay connected whilst isolating. I also taught less digital savvy members how to use Zoom so they could join our digital events. It was an incredibly rewarding job."MYsocial hurriedly hired Alex at the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic as our online events coordinator, as we could no longer hold live events. As an organisation whose purpose is to reduce loneliness and isolation, it was crucial we could still engage with our members during this frightening, unprecedented time. Flexible full time role as Assistant Production Manager for The Third Day Live Theatrical Broadcast- Worked closely with Designers and Associate Directors to deliver their creative vision.- Assisted in recreating a COVID safe production, developing the concept from a live outdoor event to a twelve-hour live outdoor broadcast.- Assisted in managing the production budget, writing risk assessments (general and COVID), amending site plans and managing the build at a complex location. - Managed onsite accommodation, travel and catering for 300 performers and crew on a tight budget and with a complex arrival and COVID testing schedule."Alex has worked alongside me as the Assistant Production Manager at Punchdrunk on one of the most complex, unique and ever changing projects I have ever worked on and I could not have asked for a better person to be by my side every step of the way. Contract finished early due to Covid-19: Deputy Site Manager for Festival Republic's Finbsury Park festival programme including Wireless. My role involved updating site plans (AutoCAD) on a part-time basis and assisting with site development. I was heading towards working full-time onsite as the Deputy Site Manager once the build started in June 2020, but unfortunately all events were cancelled due to Covid.During my time at Continental Drifts, I also produced ONBlackheath Festival and Gunnserville for Festival Republic.

Leading event training programmes for 18-25 year olds at Roundhouse Studios Sessions fell every Tuesday evening from October for 6 months during which participants met and learn from industry experts and worked towards producing their own event at the Roundhouse.

Based at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, I assisted the London Event Coordinator with one-off event and private hires at all ATG West End theatres. My duties involved marketing the venues, dealing with enquiries and liaising with clients, conducting venue visits and tours, raising contracts and invoices.
