Swans Events is a female powerhouse of event production wizards creating dynamic and engaging work. With a love for creating immersive and unforgettable experiences, we aim to be at the forefront of a new era post pandemic. Through producing our own original productions; working with clients on innovative ideas and creating employment opportunities, we want to create a world where performing arts are accessible to all.     Producing, coordinating and running online events for MYsocial members. MYsocial is Age UK Lambeth's social membership service that seeks to reduce social isolation and loneliness. During the pandemic their usual calendar of live events and local meet-ups had to stop. As the Digital Event Coordintor I built an online events programme via Zoom and hosted a Digital Festival on Facebook Live. This gave MYsocial members the opportunity to stay connected whilst isolating. I also taught less digital savvy members how to use Zoom so they could join our digital events. It was an incredibly rewarding job."MYsocial hurriedly hired Alex at the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic as our online events coordinator, as we could no longer hold live events. As an organisation whose purpose is to reduce loneliness and isolation, it was crucial we could still engage with our members during this frightening, unprecedented time. Alex has gone beyond what we thought possible, from day one she understood exactly what we were looking for, and created an exciting programme of events for mainly older people who had never participated in virtual events before, including an online digital festival.     Flexible full time role as Assistant Production Manager for The Third Day Live Theatrical Broadcast- Worked closely with Designers and Associate Directors to deliver their creative vision.- Assisted in recreating a COVID safe production, developing the concept from a live outdoor event to a twelve-hour live outdoor broadcast.- Assisted in managing the production budget, writing risk assessments (general and COVID), amending site plans and managing the build at a complex location. - Managed onsite accommodation, travel and catering for 300 performers and crew on a tight budget and with a complex arrival and COVID testing schedule."Alex has worked alongside me as the Assistant Production Manager at Punchdrunk on one of the most complex, unique and ever changing projects I have ever worked on and I could not have asked for a better person to be by my side every step of the way.
