Tradesmen – Mechanical, 28 – 28 PNG.Key responsibilities:• Daily discussion and work prioritization with Maintenance Supervisor.• Carries out Hands on PM and corrective maintenance.• Act as the coordinator of the any plant area shutdowns with the assigned planner.• Become familiar with the JDE equipment list for the area of responsibility and assist in listing all errors, omissions or improvements in details, spare parts and PM’s.• Co-ordinate work inside the plant areas, arrange permits, monitor the work carried on in these areas including work done by maintenance contractors.• Perform Root Cause analysis and Production Loss Reporting as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.• Engage in development of a high quality culture through mentoring team members and the implementation of Quality systems / processes.Potentials:• I have worked as a majored person in oil and gas installations.• I have a high degree of demonstrated trade skills.• I have mentored apprentices or other tradesmen.• I have good planning & reporting skills & computer skills, writing JHA’s.• I have experience working with national workforces.• I have trade qualifications• Maximise availability and performance of equipment by carrying out planned / breakdown / opportune maintenance, observing hazard identification requirements, isolation procedures, etc.• Plan and coordinate shutdowns associated with your area of responsibility, as well as supervising external contractors. Provide feedback on the effectiveness of maintenance programs, to ensure their continuing effectiveness. Promote a continuous improvement approach to the conduct of all operations.
