My name is Alexander Manning, and I am going into my junior year of college at Bentley University. I am deeply passionate about pursuing a career in accounting and finance. My time at Bentley has not only allowed me to gain a solid foundation in these fields but has also allowed me to grow as a leader. In the fall of 2022, I became a member of the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, where I gained valuable insights into professional development and networking. I currently serve as our chapter's fundraising director, where my duties include the creation and planning of fundraising events. During the academic year of 2022-2023, I served on the executive board for the club Relay for Life, where I held the title of Director of Food and Sponsorship. All of the money we raised was donated to the American Cancer Society. My responsibilities mainly concerned our main event in the spring of 2023, where I managed a $1200 budget which included food, supplies, and materials. My tasks also included networking the event and bringing in sponsors. I pride myself on my strong work ethic, dedication, and desire to help those in need, which is why I sought these positions. For the summer of 2024, I am looking for a challenging internship opportunity to further develop my skills and knowledge in accounting and finance.
