Alexander (Alex) Mark is a RISE Open Fan Technology Maturation Senior Systems Engineer for GE Aviation.
Mr. Mark brings a diverse background in the aerospace industry with 15 years of experience. His experience spans from program and project management to air vehicle and dynamic system design and analysis. He has managed complex programs from conceptual design through, development, qualification testing, production and sustainment.Mr. Mark has led numerous critical initiatives for Lockheed Martin, on the FARA, FLRAA, CH-53K, H-60, VH-92, S-92, and S-76 platforms. A few of these efforts include the qualification of a number of advanced technologies, to include Sikorsky’s first production additive plastic and metal components, CMC Exhausts, Pi preforms, and development of Thermoplastic AFP. His leadership of the Additive Methodology team, LMCO's Generative Design Community of Practice and his leadership of the Vertical Flight Society Stratford Chapter have provided unmatched capability to LMCO. 
Mr. Mark graduated from the ERAU with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace engineering and from Purdue University with a Master's degree in Aerospace engineering.
