I have had several years of experience in management. I have run meetings, developed new procedures, conducted interviews, and trained a team. I have developed processes that help the business run smoother and quicker. I was my boss' go to person with any problems or issues our business was facing. I am thought of as a valuable employee who brings a lot to the table. Here is one story that demonstrates my valuable problem solving skills. As a high school student I worked at a machine shop for the summer. We were behind on our task by a couple weeks. This problem prompted me to develop a whole new system to how we were doing things, which ultimately allowed us to finish ahead of schedule. This was also the moment I decided I wanted to work in the business field solving problems and creating things. In sales I have done B2B and C2B sales, built and maintained relationships with businesses, created and ran events, and worked towards helping the community. I use both cold and warm call methods to reach out to businesses. I would often set up events with my contacts to go into their facility and either do a presentation for the employees or offer free screenings. Here, I would educate the employees and try to sell them on the idea that they should try chiropractic. In order to see if this was something I was interested in doing, I accompanied a fellow employee to an event. I am always early or on time to everything so I got there before my colleagues. They were impressed that I went in and got us set up before they even got there. Typically, when you first run an event you are accompanied by an experienced colleague. Well, this was not the case for me due to scheduling issues. I went and successfully ran my first event all by myself. I take on challenges head on and strive in a climate of ambiguity. On top of working full time and part time at these two jobs, I went to college as a full-time student. There I learned skills that will help me throughout my career.I eventually found myself in a marketing role where I work closely with a wide range of clients and help them gain new and maintain old customers through various digital marketing efforts. I have developed a wide range of marketing skills including ad creation, email marketing, account management, strategy development, and more. Soon after I started my most recent job I decided I couldn't see myself in any other field and got into a Masters program. I will graduate with an MBA in marketing and management in the spring of 2023.
