I study protein-nucleic acid interactions, specifically in nucleosomes. I helped develop novel methods for simulating DNA structures that occur as the complex unwraps, that accurately account for sequence specific mechanical differences and are computationally inexpensive. Using this technique we discovered unique asymmetry in unwrapping caused by stiff.

I received a competitive research fellowship from the NSF based on my undergraduate work on acoustic properties of granular materials.
