Research scientist for a spin-out company commercialising analytical systems and technologies for the pharmaceutical and life sciences. Activities in this role included:• The development of data processing and algorithm tools for signal processing and statistical analysis using R, Julia and VBA scripting languages. • Creation of automated analysis workflows for noisy real-world data from low-cost systems. These incorporated pre- and post-processing tools, peak finding, regression and statistical analysis to allow insights into manufacturing and control. • Development of Bayesian and traditional deconvolution tools for the analysis of complex biopharmaceuticals. I have generated intellectual property in deconvolution and analysis (PCT WO/2017/202561).• Conducting data analysis and presenting findings to a wide spectrum of stakeholders, ranging from technical experts to executives at the C-suite level.• Managing a range of collaborative projects, including projects with public research institutes and commercial manufacturers.• Analysing market needs and drivers to inform the company’s R&D strategy and product roadmap.• Attending relevant conferences and tradeshows to engage with customers and present work through talks.• Science and engineering consultancy.
