With over 20 years of experience in auditing, accounting, and compliance, I am a resourceful and detail-oriented professional who leads the Internal Audit department at PRIO, the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil. I have a proven track record of executing and overseeing internal and external audits, internal controls, compliance, investigations and risk management in a complex and dynamic environment.I joined PRIO in 2018 as the head of the compliance and internal controls department, and I was promoted to my current role in April 2022. Since then, I have been responsible for developing and implementing the audit strategy, plan, and budget, as well as managing a team of auditors and consultants. I have also successfully handled multiple global projects and multinational clients, demonstrating my strategic vision and results-oriented approach. Additionally, I have enhanced my skills and knowledge by obtaining a Brazilian Chartered Accountant license, a MBA in Controllership and Finance, a LL.M. in Law and Compliance, and two prestigious certifications: CCEP-I and CPC-A. I am fluent in Portuguese and English.
