I am a recent graduate from the University of Guelph, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Economics and Finance. Throughout my academic journey, I had the opportunity to gain nearly two years of hands-on experience in various business environments through the co-op program.I began my professional journey at LifeWorks (formerly Morneau Shepell), where I worked as a Pension Analyst for eight months. This initial experience laid a solid foundation for my subsequent role at Scotiabank, where I joined the Global Risk Management (GRM) department. Over the course of a year, spanning two different work terms, I deepened my expertise in risk management. My time as a co-op student at Scotiabank was so impactful that it led me back to the team post-graduation, where I now work full-time as a Risk Analyst.Through my studies and work experience, I have developed a strong passion for Risk Management and Finance, and I am committed to expanding my knowledge in these areas. I am currently preparing to pursue the CFA designation to further enhance my professional credentials. Additionally, I am proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and possess intermediate skills in both C and R programming languages, which I plan on enhancing in my free time.
