- Responsible on the design, validation, debug and troubleshooting of the DC-DC converters used on server boards, intended to test the newest Intel’s microprocessors and chipsets.- Experience managing projects for the power section being responsible for all the documentation, communication, raising issues to high level management and headcount forecast.- Start projects from scratch with very low information on-hand, create all the first documentation for Power section during architectural phase.- Create schematics and provide BOM.- Evaluate from a cost/area/efficiency perspective, test on a real environment, and select new power components such as PWM controllers, drivers, inductors, power switches and other analog and some digital components.- Simulation for the Power Deliver Network (PDN), to ensure capacitor and copper solutions are working correctly to meet the specs.- Give feedback to the silicon team to improve the power delivery network to meet the specs and reduce noise coupled between power rails inside the microprocessor.- Give guidelines for an appropriate power layout PCB design.- High level simulations for thermal board analysis.- Customers support on any power related issue.- Direct contact with vendors about their newest technology and product offers.
