Tax is an enigma to many people, and that’s not surprising – it’s complicated and constantly evolving. I work with a wide range of clients of all shapes and sizes helping them comply with their tax obligations, factor tax implications into business decisions, and where the law doesn’t make sense – talk to the government about getting it changed. Helping to shape tax policy a particular focus of mine, and I have worked closely with both business and Inland Revenue on numerous law changes over the last decade. I am a passionate advocate for tax reform that keeps New Zealand competitive and reduces red tape and compliance costs for businesses.Outside of the office I am an avid fisherman and enjoy traveling and the outdoors.
