Alex Mitnick is a performer, composer, teacher, writer, and producer of original music based content for children. He is the host and creator of Alex & The Kaleidoscope, an interactive music entertainment brand for children, which made it's debut in 2014 and earned a New York Emmy® for Best Children's Programming. In addition to producing the TV show, Alex tours with his band, Alex & The Kaleidoscope, performing for children across the US and around the world. He recently visited Beijing, China to lead a workshop and concert series for Chinese families and is currently working on his seventh album for children due in early 2019. Alex also composes musicals for children, teaches music to elementary age children and is a frequent artist-in-residence in Philadelphia and New York City schools.
