During my time at ECPS I worked across the key stages having taught in Year Four, Reception, Year One and Year Two. As well as continually developing my practise through regular CPD, research, appraisal cycles and professional reflection I also held the following responsibilities.Computing leader 2013-2019- Rearranged structure for teaching computing across the school.- Worked alongside 'computing champion' specialist TA.- Ensured progression through implementation of scheme of work.- Started local computing cluster with Southern Area primary schools.- Delivered E-safety training on a termly basis through whole-school assemblies and house days.PE leader 2019-2022- Implemented new planning and scheme of work to ensure consistency and progression across school.- Maintained resource cupboard and ensured resources available for all lessons across all key stages.- Refreshed sports day format with a focus on both fun and competitive events for children and parents.- Introduced additional competitive sports for individuals and teams to represent the school (including football, tennis, athletics and cross country).Eco leader 2018 - 2021- Building on outstanding work from previous Eco leader.- Delivered whole-school assemblies to ensure children and staff are aware of our eco aims.- Preparing for the eco green flag award.- Leading an Eco team as part of the work with the school council.Behaviour Lead Practitioner 2017 - 2022- Attended borough and national training on a half termly basis to remain up to date with current approaches to behaviour management.- Worked alongside SENCO to ensure referrals and outside agencies are contacted in a timely manner.- Delivered training to staff based on courses attended in BLP role.- Revised school's behaviour policy and rewards/sanctions ladders.- Delivered training to Edge Hill University trainees on behaviour management.

During my first three years of teaching I was PE coordinator at this two form entry primary school. Throughout my time at KMPS I built up the schools profile in competing locally and achieved some success, primarily in athletics and football.My main role was as class teacher in Year Four and over the course of my first three years of teaching I developed my understanding of learning, teaching and assessment to be judged outstanding by both the leadership team and in an Ofsted inspection.I helped lead initiatives in assessment for learning and trialled different approaches which I then shared with other staff in whole-school CPD sessions.I also attended courses on positive behaviour management and developed my understanding of behaviour through working with the school's pastoral team.In my third year at KMPS I undertook training in project-based learning and used this to host a number of events at school including an Ancient Egyptian Museum afternoon and a Caribbean Carnival.
