About Alex Monteys
**First things first: I don’t accept connection invitations from people I don’t know without a message. Hopefully you’ll understand.**I'm Alex Monteys, based in Barcelona with experience in graphic design and many of its variants: visual design, UX/UI design, creative design, print design, etc.It's very hard to define myself... The world is a big and complex system of which we are all part, and I like to think that I'm one of those who try to make the system work better by doing what I'm good at: design.For me design doesn't just mean opening the laptop and drawing some abstract shapes next to an amazing headline. Designing means empathizing with people and offering a solution to solve their problems; designing means opening a communication channel to achieve an objective; designing means improving the experience between a person and a physical or digital product. And so on...From 2016 to mid-2021 I worked exclusively in the healthcare industry, managing and executing projects as a creative and multidisciplinary designer in communication agencies, such as events, layout, digital platforms… And yes, all these projects are confidential for obvious reasons ; )Between 2021 and 2022 I have been enhancing my digital and design management skills by working on N1-Headache, a project that is trying to improve the lives of people with migraine.Currently, I’m helping to build and improve Scilife, a SaaS Quality Management System for life sciences companies.Both leading teams and as being part of them, I find that having different colleagues with different roles makes me learn and enjoy the journey much more.I still don't know what the future holds for me, but I always keep in mind that "inspiration exists, but it has to find you working" (Pablo Picasso). I believe in moving forward and new challenges. Continuous improvement is what makes you grow.After reading all this, if you want to count on me or just want to meet me: let's have a virtual coffee!
