I have over 20 years experience steel fixing within the construction industry. I’ve worked on a variety of projects, including football stadiums, skateparks, water treatment works, industrial buildings, motorway bridges, retaining walls, slabs, ground beams, lift pits, stairways…..the list goes on! I’m a team player and enjoy being part of a happy and calm working environment. Outside of work I enjoy sports, property renovations and spending time with my family. I enjoy the process of property development/renovation, and am very hands on. I tackle most jobs but I also know when to call in the professional tradesmen! Over the past 15 years I’ve renovated four properties, taking them back to the brick and bringing them back to a modern specification. Football played a big role in my life until my mid thirties. I was fortunate enough to represent my county at under 19 level. I also represented my university during my time there. I captained my local team Tarporley Victoria FC for many seasons in the Cheshire Football League, achieving a promotion, two League Player Of The Year awards, and winning the Presidents Cup. I’ve always been a keen runner and completed a couple of marathons during my footballing days. I’m now married with two children, so football took a back seat, but I continue to run marathons to keep my body fit, and my mind focused. In 2019 I jumped in the deep end of the triathlon world and took on my first triathlon, Ironman Barcelona 140.6. Finishing this event was one of the best moments of my life! I still compete in triathlon as the bug bit me hard, but so far I have resisted the urge to tackle another Ironman……
