About Alex Mosoiu

I am naturally curious. I ask lots of questions. I read a lot and know a little bit about a lot, and a lot about a little bit. I am equally comfortable working in a brainstorm session on a creative marketing campaign as I am working on building budgets, financial forecasts or doing deep analysis. I have had left-brain and right-brain roles in my career and I have found passion in both. I am good at taking complex concepts, understanding them quickly and being able to explain them to others. I’ve worked at large organizations and start up environments, so I can adapt to either.Working at Kohl’s helped me to deeply understand operations, experience end-to-end technology development and how to manage people. I helped open more than 500 new stores and earned my field marketing, direct mail and financial analysis chops early on in my career. This is where my love affair with Excel began.Moving on to Family Christian Stores, first as head of national marketing and then eventually as a buyer in various departments, I was able to make an impact across multiple departments. I worked on all facets of marketing from product marketing and creative to social media, email marketing and direct marketing, as well as various buying function from managing open-to-buy and negotiating with vendors to in-store product planning, analysis and reporting. All of my previous experiences were leveraged in my most recent stint as COO and CMO of Clear Bible, Inc where I built the HR and finance functions, managed our marketing strategy, facilitated fundraising efforts, and built systems that scaled the organization from 4 people in early 2018 to 28 people in 2023 and from $600k in revenue to more than $3.5M.
