Responsible for multiple key Tier 1 suppliers in the EMEA region. I consult with suppliers and coach them to ensure all requirements are met for new and existing parts/processes, improve process capability and ensure adherence to project timelines. Conversant with the AIAG Core Tools to support the consistent achievement of Quality KPIs. Extensive experience of working in project teams, including the management of New Product Introduction projects from a Supplier Quality perspective, and leading Six Sigma projects. Multiple examples of successful execution of supplier quality improvement initiatives. A fundamental aspect of this role is building strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

Led all aspects of Customer Quality for multiple key Automotive OEMs in the EMEA region, from the receipt of customer issues to the instigation of corrective actions, and subsequent effectiveness validation. Built strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure quality issues were resolved with robust corrective actions, whilst maintaining regular communication to all levels of management. Conducted regular Product Audits to guarantee conformity to customer requirements.

A structured programme of training enabled a great deal of practical engineering experience to be attained across multiple functions within the organisation. Developed a sound understanding of fleet management and workshop processes, together with management experience and commercial awareness. Led several company-wide projects, including the successful implementation of iPad-based records for vehicle inspections.

A 12-month Industrial Placement, working in a customer-facing role, supporting in-service OEM issues. Led the onsite appraisal of warranty returns at a major Automotive OEM. Ensured the timely analysis of failed parts from multiple OEMs. Supported cost saving initiatives to reduce warranty costs.
