I lead the team charged with the development of new crop insurance products including both Federal Crop Insurance programs administered by the FCIC (Enhanced Coverage Option, Cottonseed, Margin Protection, Revenue Programs for Cherries, Strawberries, Oranges, Peas, Lentils, and Beans, and many other new FCIC programs) and Non-Reinsured Supplemental private crop insurance products (Price Flex, RPowerD, GAP, and many others).I lead a team that creates software and training support to allow organizations to apply and translate advanced agricultural risk management analysis into individual retail relationships. I develop initial product concepts and then coordinate the underwriting, policy development, actuarial/pricing, and regulatory approval teams and processes for new products.I also work directly with clients in a consultant role, coordinating analysis from my econometric/analytical/data science team; providing client-facing and customer-facing analytical summary messaging, and providing training through interactive educational presentations.
