CTS is a Managed Service Provider for hundreds of businesses. I was part of a team of 4 that would handle every aspect of a customer’s computer ecosystem. Within 6 months of being there, I became the lead on the majority of large projects and firewall installations. I developed the innate ability to quickly resolve client issues in previously unknown environments.

Clinton Township

I worked primarily with SonicWall's and managed Cisco switches. I was initially hired as a Help Desk Technician but management saw I had the ability to manage devices through the CLI. Within the first week I was tasked with a project working with one of the companies biggest clients; standardizing all of their firewall rules.I constructed an audit for a client that had 1000+ Sonicwalls. We had to gather the location, IP, firmware, Serial, License expiration, and what zones were open to WAN. I pulled the IPs from our VPN gateway and then created a script in BASH. It utilized Expect and SSH to pull all of said information and make it human readable.

Detroit Mi

Repaired and pushed content to a variety of specialized equipment used for advertising at Joe Louis Arena and Comerica Park. I implemented a script that streamlined filling out ad time which is still in use.

I started off working for IT Operations, I mainly worked with Windows machines and basic troubleshooting of campus devices (Printers, network issues, VoIP). Linux packaging for campus, Dell Certified, Computer Repair, Printer Repair, a little bit of everything.

Worked on their network installing 3 Cisco Aironet Wireless Access Points and upgraded their 16 port 100Mbps switch and 1gbps 5 port switch, to a 32 port 1Gbps switch.
