The migration was completed with zero downtime and reduced the AWS bill by 25%-Optimized database queries by introducing Entity Framework ORM. This optimization completely eliminated the need for vertical database scaling during peak VAT (tax) months-Improved efficiency of the in-house machine learning algorithm called Fritzie. The changes I introduced reduced the execution time of Fritzie by 45%- Introduced CI/CD pipelines for legacy projects. This improved developer efficiency and enabled automated rollback capability, versioning and serviceability to applications that are still serving the majority of the 40K customer base- Introduced static code analysis and vulnerability scans that helped the company achieve required EU certifications for its banking permit-Migrated .net Webforms UI pages to VUE javascript framework based front end and API based back-end. This migration simplified the system requirements for the customers (no more IE!) and simplified the workload for the engineering teams via the separation of concerns- Led the technical interview and onboarding process for the engineering organization; successfully hired 5 engineers- Mentored test automation engineers on the code base and co-wrote integration tests on NUnit, XUnit, Jest and Mocha to improve automated test coverage- Co-designed company-wide hackathons that hosted more than 100 engineers from three different countries- Created a company-wide workshop about React and Next.js server-side rendering concepts Show less
