I am responsible for the UFGI’s ticketing system; the researchers here will submit a ticket where I then discuss with them the feasibility of the request, schedule a time to meet with them, and get any extra information needed to help me satisfy their request. I write detailed S.O.P.’s to send to researchers for common tasks and offer assistance and explanations about the process. I am also responsible for setting up incoming hardware to be added to our network, install it into the requested lab, and set it up for researchers to use immediately.

I was trained in all stations in the back of house, being able to fill into any role the team needed whether the station was falling behind, lacked support, needed prep for a wave of customers, or fill in for a tired team member. I knew all cleaning procedures and kept a clean environment, at my station and others, always to ensure the quality of our food. I was also responsible for training incoming team members at various stations where I would mentor and monitor them to make sure they got accustomed to the work environment.
