I was recently promoted from the Head of ERP Security at National Grid. I now lead a team of 50+ employees, establishing and implementing technology services for National Grid whilst ensuring OPEX savings of more than £500K for 2020/2021. I collaborate with the Business Services Leadership team to direct and strategise the future direction of shared services. I served as the delegate for the Head of Business Services to the Identity Access Management (IAM) Programme Management Board (PMB).

I established the ERP Security Department, designing and implementing global security architecture within ERP applications. I ensured compliance with 125 SOX controls and configured SAP authorisations, with a heavy focus on SU24 (Maintain Check Indicators) and sustainability. I gathered and analysed requirements, identifying role administration standards, and I managed SAP internal and external audits. I also played a key role in the design and development of S4 HANA with FIORI apps (a new ERP system for National Grid), managing third-party providers.♦ Led transition of services to offshore IT support model, managing 20-member global ERP security team and saving in excess of £500k year on year (YoY).♦ Spearheaded implementation of GRC 10.1 access controls, moving National Grid from manual user administration process to automated system including all components of GRC Access Risk Analysis (ARA) tool.♦ Led process improvements, reducing annual SoX audit significant deficiencies from 2 to 0 and improving average resolution time of 30 days to 1.7 days.♦ Enhanced customer experience by creating and delivering service catalogue with relevant service level agreements to National Grid UK.♦ Streamlined operations, leading controls team through ‘get clean stay clean’ programme for ERP/SAP applications, resulting in established controls framework and more stable/secure systems.
