To accomplish these goals, I… Show more As director of communications and editorial services a the Newberry Library, I am responsible for strategically and creatively utilizing a variety of communications tools to promote the library's exhibitions and public programs; share news and developments with Newberry patrons, donors, and other stakeholders; and help build and maintain communities of scholars, lifelong learners, and other cultural institutions whose missions align with the Newberry's. To accomplish these goals, I manage the Newberry's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram); conduct media outreach and other forms of public relations; plan, execute, and measure paid advertising campaigns; co-host "Shelf Life," the library's monthly podcast; and edit and write articles for The Newberry Magazine, which the library publishes twice a year.
